vent in the middle of dash

there is a square piece in the middle of the dash (number three). I was wondering if you can just take it out without having to undo it from the bottom?

Yeah it just pulls out.

I use a flat screw driver to lever it out

Yep, small slotted screwdriver pops it out... I went in that way to access and change the hazard switch.

No not putting a speaker. I wanted to remove my hazard switch the spring or latch has broken in there and I thought it would be a good place to hide my GPS speed sender there, at the moment it lives under the dash and I don't think it gets a decent signal as its a few seconds slow to catch up when I boot it sometimes.
