Hello, I'm new here.

Post by Cloverleaf »

Hi there!

I'm new here on the forum, and wants to even imagine.

So all I'm Cloverleaf (Tom, from Belgium) and what my nickname maybe suggests, I am avid Alfist. : D
I have 2 Alfa Spiders one from '79 and '11 and for daily use an Alfa MiTo.
Now you might be asking questions, what is that doing here on a BMW forum. : lol:

Awel I have a BMW e21 323i on the eye. That is for sale in Belgium and has been imported from the Netherlands.
And maybe that the previous owner is also on the forum here, or that someone else knows the Beemer here.
And are there any downsides where I should look for?
'm No expert on BMW area.

Hi Tom

welcome to the forum and to e21 ownership.
Car looks nice the only change I would do is change the wheels.

Welcome,

As for the question you asked. The most important thing you must look for is rust. The same as the old Alfa's i think. The car looks nice indeed.

There is a topic with the points to look for when you want to buy a E21. Good luck.

Welcome! Old Alfa's are definitely cool and I really like your E21. I'm not a big fan of bodykits, but yours seems to pull it off with the large Alpina alloys. Nice.

Welcome Tom! If the car came over from the Netherlands, than perhaps you have a better canche of finding the previous owner in the Dutch section. But I know the Dutch section pretty good and I don't know this car.

Last weekend I went to the OGP on the Nurburgring with a group of Alfisti, 17 Alfa Romeo's, among which: 159 3.2 V6, 2xGTV 3.0 V6, 3x 70's/80's GTV, 147 GTA, Sprint, 1971 spider, 3x Gulia and a couple of new Gulietta. Real fun!
It's the man next door!

Welcome here Tom! Rust is your biggest enemy indeed so make sure to have the car on a garage stand for a thorough check! Otherwise take pics and keep us posted so we can give you some more advice perhaps. Where is the car located? We might just have a specialist nearby to help you!
