Did not think that they ever made the E30 323i as an NFL? Maybe I miss some details, but this has the new front lip, high gear stick, 240 on the speedo insteed of 220, no digital watch etc.
This is a vfl. You have the vvfl, those are the first. Thanks after a year or two they changed some details but still vfl. And some what end '87 the NFL came, no chromebumpers, different rear lights, smiley headlights etc.
But this looks like a car that stayed in the shop to long, Must be build around 84, stayed at the dealers for two years, got upgrades to vfl and sold in 1986. Looks great though.
Moved to the E30 section. Several things don't add up. On the 323i you only got a black spoiler on the rear deck, not painted. The centre console appears to come from a later model with a 4-speed interior fan and analog clock, gearknob is later style, cloth is later style (I think), the early ones had black sound deadening material under the trunk mat, not painted. So there are some funny things about the car that make you wonder, but the condition looks good.
This car is actually correct. For the Swiss market the 323i was sold till 9/86. And so the details are correct. The 4-speed came after 9/83 (with I/II/III/IV, later 1/2/3/4) and the 240km/h cluster came 3/86. The interior (stoff nutria 213) is used from 9/85 till 9/87.
Given the sparewheel which is in bodycolour, the car has been resprayed.
That is both funny and interesting! The good thing about this is: Jeroen is always right. If not, there will be another Jeroen who's right. So Jeroen is always right.
