SEATS
My E21's seats are falling to bits and have lost all their padding - what are the options for replacements?

Depends. Do you want to go original/OEM?
If not I would say the best option is to get hold of the recaro/E21 seat console (there are early and late models) and then find some recaro LX seats.

What colour/type interior do you have? BMW still have 'some' of them in stock new.
If you tried to remove and re-pad/stuff the existing covers they would most likely come apart in some places, and possibly look worse... I think the best option is to have a specialist add additional padding to the horse hair whilst the covers are still on the frames.
