Re: 320/6 from New Zealand
Work on the car stalled.
LSD motor and ZF box all got sold.
I have started a business so the big items got sold to buy equipment.

Makes parts look like new.
That has taken a lot of time. Shed extension, 3 phase power install and large 40cfm compressor in my shed.
This weekend I have a couple of the boys coming over to cut up one of the cars. I think the black 320 is going to give it's life to save the 323. The wife is very keen to see the unneeded car out of the driveway.
The firewall work is massive and will most properly need complete repair certification. Expensive and not needed on the 323.
Will make a good car out of the two.
We can't get the new panels here. Well that's a lie. BMW NZ say they are not available. Can buy from Europe but freight and then the shipping damage is not worth the effort for the larger panels.
So I'm hoping to get back on to the car that is left in the near future. Will be chipping away a little bit at a time.
Still the same plan for the build but now I'm thinking m54b30. Might as well.
I also have a half rollcage and a race seat.
The e24 hubs have been machined to fit the Holden discs. Had to remove 1mm off them as the inner of the disc was slightly smaller. Now I can get discs from any parts store. There are only 3 e24 discs in the country. So have set it up for easy parts replacement at the race track.
I also have a set of 2002 fibreglass flares.
So no real car work to speak of. But lots to get me back to a point where I can start work on the E21 again.
that's my lunch break over, next post will have plAsma cutter and sparks.
