Hello all,
I’ve recently had a steering rack reconditioned, bought a new fluid filter and bought a new PS pump (second hand). I also have some new springs and shocks for upfront, and have decided to change all bushings while I’m under it to totally refresh the front.
Before I set into it, is there any other parts I should change while I’m under there. Or any tips for undertaking this job. It seems pretty easy but I’ve been fooled before.
Thanks

Yeah, don't forget topbearings on the coils, those are the ones that have the 3 bolts in the shocktower, under the bonnet.
And replace the rubber mounts on the front swaybar.

I have Bilstein shocks and coils, is there any special adaptor needed? Found that bearing. 50 quid a pop yowza!
I have ordered Powerflex bushing for up front.

Its only that the nut that goes on top of the strut is different for Billies, usually you get them with the shocks

I’ll assess the top end bearing, see if it’s in bad nick and replace!
