1983 315 from Turkey

Post by Sel The Don »

Hello all!

I've been a member of this forum for a while and came very close to pulling the trigger on an E21 a while back, ultimately the sale didn't go through but fear not! I am now the proud owner of this 1983 315! Woooo!

There's quite a bit of work to do to it, the rear left hand side of the inside of the car is mostly missing due to rust, which is now in the process of being re-welded and I'll be completely overhauling the electrics and the previous owner has added silly LEDs everywhere and other electronics that serve zero purpose.

I'll also be replacing the wheels as they're way too wide and the front air ride system will be removed.

Anyway, less of my waffling. Cheers!

Welcome here! The car looks real good Sir! Electronics aren't rocket science on these cars so that shouldn't pose too many problems. Enjoy your new toy!

Nice! Is has had some work done, also a full respray? Sills and side mirrors are in colour. The e12 door handles look great on the red. Looking forward to lots of new pics of your lovely e21!

Hello mate :)

Yes, looks like it's had a full respray at some point. There's a lot of rust that needs sorting.

I'll take more photos when the project has come further along :)
