Hi all,

I'm looking for a brake compensator for a 1977 316. Is there anyone who can help me out? i would be super grateful, not an easy to thing to find.

part number 34331116365

UK version? Aka Right hand drive?

@ uwbuurman Thank you for your response. It’s actually Left hand drive, I wasn’t aware the part was different, that’s very interesting thank you.

Oh no, no difference there. I thought if the brake booster. My bad.

This part number has been superseded by 34341151640 and it is common to all e21s (so far as I can see)

I also found this on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165294759191 which gives a standard ATE part number, looks like it was fitted to other vehicles/manufacturers as well. I'd check the ATE catalogue before purchase.

There are new ones on eBay available in the US&A but pretty much anyone breaking an e21 should have a second hand one if you wanted to go that route?
