My Fake E21 Alpina "C1 Turbo" tribute car!
Hello guys! some time not posting anything about my car!.
As published on older posts of this forum, my car started his life as a 1980 E21 316, with a 1600cc M10.
When a was 20 years old(now i´m 35), i made a full restoration of the car to original state, (it was in very bad shape), and slowly, started to modify it.
As usually, you always want more power, so i swapped the M10 with an M42, then as that wasn´t enough, i turbo charged it!
I know i´ts not an Alpina, but i really like the Alpina looks, so i made my own version of a dream E21.
I also made some custom "C1 Turbo" fake emblems.
Some specs of the car:
Engine:
M42 B18 stock Engine.
Hybrid M42/M10 Getrag 240 with mechanical speedo output.

Hello again, I wondered if I could pick your brain a little please? I am building an M10 2.0 turbo and have beefed the engine up to take it, my worry is the transmission. I have the 245 overdrive box and I'm struggling to find any real info on what it'll handle. Would you know what it'll take or perhaps recommend any upgrades?
Thanks very much for your time.

Hello guys!
Some updates on the car, I sold my Alpina 13" rims to a guy that had an 02, and I finally bought a staggered set of Maxilite 15" rims. The difference in looks and ride quality are superb!
