315 service manual?

Post by Sel The Don »

Hello,

I'd like to get to work on my 315, specifically the electronics, although I have loads of other work that I'll need to do.

I found a service manual but it seems to be the 320 and above model, can anyone point me in the right direction for the 315 service manual?

Cheers!

What service manual did you find? The factory workshop manual can be obtained electronically and has two versions, 4 cyl and 6 cyl, but hasn't been updated since the 1978 model. Covers most of the items but not exactly the facelift models.

Haynes has a manual that includes all 4 cyl models. Not sure the 315 is covered but apart from the carb there aren't any major differences.

Hello mate,

I found a digital one online for the 320 and 323i 6 cylinder. I'm looking for a 4 cylinder one to cross reference wiring, plus the carb has all sorts of vacuum pipes that aren't connected and would like to know how it goes back together,

Haynes manuals are excellent but as I live in Turkey it'll be nigh on impossible to find one.

Hi, I can also recommend Haynes manuals. If you want to find a manual for 4 cylinder motors change your location to United Kingdom, at least that worked for me.
