1978 BMW 316 HELP

Hi everyone,

I am posting these pictures from Turkey and I am in the market for buying a nice clean an e21. Someone offered me this car and asking higher then regular market price.

I am just asking you guys to help me with to decide if I should consider buying it or passing through. The guy says he changed everything under the hood and changed the transmission to 5 speed.

it doesn't have the crom trims on the body and around the the windows. other than that I don't have the pictures nor idea of the interior but guy says he also changed the carpet, seats and and other things. As I said I haven't seen the interior or the job that has been done but; my question is what do you guys think about the look and body/paint job.

I'll try to post the pictures but I'll also post the links for the pictures so you can take a look.

looks nice.
but an e21 needs chrome, like an e30 doesnt!
paintwork looks good job to me, but cant really tell much from them pics.
if everything thats been done to it have been done well. then its got to be worth paying more.

Put the chrome back and lose the white lettering on the tyres for a start! Personally, I'd rather pay a bit more for a car in good condition than a cheaper one thats going to have rust issues that cost to put right anyway!

to post the pics you need to open the links you posted above and then right click on the pic to see the pictures properties. Because the address you used in your post is just the page itself, but not the picture..
The pic is the http address with jpg ending..
