Well, actually I thought the boot floor was okay! The paint was hiding the rot pretty well but it didn't take long to find with the "screwdriver of truth"

Nothing too unexpected I guess considering the age of the car. Underneath it looks much more solid (although I did already need to replace a fuel tank).

Good work! These little repairs are as time consuming and and fiddly as replacing whole panels, but they are very satisfying to get through and eliminate from the to do list!

Nice! My boot floor wasn't that bad, but your windscreen rust was way better than mine! Small amount of PTSD looking at these pics!

Welding all done (except the bonnet). Preparation for painting begins. Sanding, spray filler for the imperfections, 3 coats of primer then finally painting. Will be leaving a week or two between filler and primer coats to allow for shrinking.
