Cheers mark :) its a good feeling when a major milestone has been reached. its been like a month and a half - every weekend has seemed to have been spent under this car.

update.

So today I had some shit to sort out, insurance - this including all mods and like for like with a 5k agreed value cost £290 -might be a bit pricey but hey theres a lot of car crime and crashes up here i suppose.

I also had the MOT to sort out and i was dreading this kind of as its the first one i have put this car through. It failed - headlight aim, emmisions, rear number plate lights and he failed me for having custom numberplates lol.

I managed to fix the lot in the space of an hour though and the test was abargain half price - you have to book through nationwide auto center's website £27.50!

Oh yeah couple of week ago i was driving down the main road into leeds, and some militant moped rider was weaving through traffic at high speeds on the other side of the road and he kicked up some stones when he narrowly avoided a traffic island! one went straight through my headlight and smashed it to pieces!!!

What a nob head, i could kill this guy tbh As i havent managed to find a replacement 7" i have been rocking the " smaller twin lights that are the same size" effort and im not too sure i like it! I think it makes the car look pretty wierd but then i suppose its has merits as its a lot brighter than the single lamps. what do you guys think?

I went to cornwall (lands end) last week for my little brothers stag weekend - 950 miles there n back!

Luckily my parents live halfway so it wasnt too bad as i got to have a rest - it only used two and a half tanks there n back fully laden - in fact the m10 coped well with three guys and an 8 man tent and our gear! In cornwall there are some very steep hills, it managed them but you defo need a good run up to get over the big ones.

not car related but i thought id chuck in a couple of pics of me rock climbing!

this is the rock face i climbed its pretty high but doesnt look like it in the photo.

nice climbing there!

so did you sort out the lights thing? think i have 1 outer lamp in decent order, dunno which side it is.

i know youve done your rear beam thing, so this is probably really bad timing but ive got some brand new rear wishbones for drummed cars forsale (see thread in for sale bit.).

also.... do you still have your old e21 rear beam? im guna be needing one to chop up for this e30 beam conversion.

Single headlights looked nice, double headlights better IMHO. Again just my humble opinion, but some black inserts for your front valance and your car is looking like a very lovely little E21.

Could have done with your tip for the MOT, just spent £45 on mine - ouch!
