In the garage (since yesterday - hopefully out today) for new set clutch
New set by LUK.
Looking back at the car's service archive, unless I missed something, the old one lasted 30 1/2 years and almost 160000 km (and actually was still going with minor issues)
and me about 350 euros poorer

Did some differential support for the m30 turbo swap, might make the 168mm last a bit longer...

Is that still flexible? Looks sturdy, but is it still able to move around a bit?

The flexibility is minimum, the whole idea with this mod is to make the differential not move at all when launching the car and sliding. I bought a poly kit for the car and used the bushings that were meant to be in the stock diff support.

Oh man this topic could really do with some revitalising! On the E21 front... we went to the Techno Classica in Germany, probably the largest classic car event worldwide. Teamed up with Martina Rößle from the BMW Clubs International Council to discuss the possibilities to work together on the Sharknose Meeting
Man that E21 DRM / Group 5 racer is fabulous. Celebrating 40 years of BMW Junior Team!
