Change of plan after chatting to Paul Sheppard down at Circuit Motors near Castle Coombe.
The Dastek unichip works really well with the M52 evidently so, once the 2.5 inlet manifold goes on, he is going to install the Dastek and map it all for me. Hopefully, that'll be the last thing and give me between 220 and 230 brake. Plus I'll be able to hit the redline!
I think I'm gonna take the BBS off now the summer is coming to an end.

Shame the mic picks up so much fuel pump noise. It's not actually so loud in the metal.

Bought a cheap bullet camera and have been messing about learning how it works. Magnetic mount gives a cool angle.

Started stripping off the inlet manifold this afternoon and cleaned up the 2.5 version that's being fitted instead. Also plan to change the air filter for a foam Pipercross one.
Am going to take the BBS off next week too. Am fitting staggered Minilites instead in 7 & 8 x 15's. Still undecided on tyres although probably 195/50's up front.
Might be tempted to sell the BBS although might just put them away till next Summer instead. If anyone is genuinely interested just pm me.

I watched someone else drive off in it yesterday and while I admit I'm biased, it did sound feckin' awesome! It didn't look too shabby either but I wish there were no speed humps around so I could lower it a bit more.

Met Louie while I'm down here in Cornwall and his car is a cracker considering what he got it for. Certainly a good base for what he has planned and looks good in white.
Decided to go for something a bit different to the BBS RM's and am really pleased with these.

Dropped Borbet & new rubber off to be fitted today. Minilites finally arrived after being told they were on their way a gazzillion times. Just waiting on MOT pass to get MIB back home.
Thanks to Jason, I now have an adjustable rear ARB and another front one, that I will fit to the track car. I'm sprinting at Lydden on the 22nd so hope to have them on by then. I just need a couple of e30 drop links.
e30 ARB drop link
Over the winter I'm thinking of removing the RPM graphics and going for a copy of a county race car livery. Possibly the London / Park Lane car??

So you're going to mount the front ARB behind the crossmember, as on an E30?

Nope, the drop links are for the rear. I'm going to clamp the 2 fronts together.

Looks like your rear tow hook is a bit tired in that movie
