yeah they should be close try turning them to insure they're not touchin anything
then test the calipers for proper fit.

Yep they are pretty close but spinning is done parallel to the backing plate so no grinding noises happen.

Im just wondering if iv missed a part out or something. I know that the disc will sit fairly close to the plate, but right now its just sitting very close. Wont know for sure if it grinds until iv got wheel bolts on it, which i need to buy. Has anyone a library photo of the clearance beteen plate and disc.

That looks about normal as remember having to dig gravel our of the back plate after running of talent one day and thinking f**K how does it get in the there.

It will not rub with bolts, if you bolts are to long (and i have done this) they will catch the handbrake shoes before hitting the back plate

yes they do. the middle of the back plate is on a few mm from touching...

Thanks, i just wanted a bit of reassurance. Next job is to modify aluminium bracket so the caliper fits in place.

Are you usign the wilwoods on the rear, what are you doing to adjust the brake basis to compensate.

Not 100% sure, however i think i need some sort of proportioning valve, and a reisidual valve.
