Finally found the time to get the H&R lowering springs Jeroen provided to me under the e21
I really like the result, hope I'm not the only one

I also changed the gearbox oil, diff oil, brake fluid and power steering pump fluid.
The rolling sound is also gone I replaced the right front wheel bearing.
Also I changed all the fuses by new ones.
In fact the cars mechanical parts are all fine now, so I'll start the bodyworks next year.

I paid 194 euro for this H&R kit but those are progressive springs (more excpensive) than normal ones (but also more stability)

Hey Gerrit,
Looks brilliant mate!!
How does it handle with the new springs? Which shocks do you use?

@ Jeroen and e21Dane
I can't tell much about handling yet did only 5km with the new springs on just for a little test drive (everything went well).
My first impression is that the car bounces less on bumpy roads and is very stable on strait lines. For cornering it improved a bit, there is a little less bodyroll but I think to VERY improve cornering I'll have to get me some sport shocks. I still use the originel boges for the moment until they fail the technical control. Then I will get me some sportshocks but I don't really now what is still available. Here in Belgium not alot.
So Jeroen maybe I will need your help again in the future. Do you by the way know which makes are still available in the Netherlands??
Something else...
I already felt that my 323i was really fast, faster than my friends 323i e30... Today found out why... my 323i is equipped with a 3.64 diff..... shorter gearing = better acceleration
Do you guys perhaps know how many torque she would have with this diff. According to a prog I found on the net it should be 200 iso 190

Nice one Gerrit. And not tooooo low either. A matter of taste, but as far as I'm concerned a E21 doesn't need to look like it broke it's axles.

Yep, looking good Gerrit

!
I fully agree with the car's new height, and its wheels really suit it too!
And the silver looks real nice in the sun - a good colour for an e21

.
