I want to do a driving type holiday as well.

I'm definitely up for this; need to get the whole job thing sorted way before then though.

I'm going to the 2011 event.I had booked a room at the Campanile this year but work wouldn't allow it

Any news on a date for next years event yet?

The Sharknose meeting 2011 will be held on the 4th of june.

Maybe it will not be held in Wezep again because they are expecting to many cars (twice as much as last years event).
It would be nice to meet you guys!

Definately. I know there are at least 4 or 5 UK cars that plan to attend but I'm also going to write something for the BMW Car Club magazine amongst others. If anyone who is serious about going can post here, I might be able to look into securing discounts on travel. You don't know till you try. Obviously, it will help when we know the proposed venue too.

It would be nice if it was just a few kilometers from the ferry port.

I'd be up for it - probably end up camping to save on dosh though.

If things go to plan I would be well up for a road trip.

As Wondermike wrote we're aiming for June 4, 2011. Can't say for sure yet as we're currently busy selecting a location that will give us enough room. But for sure it won't be further up north than last years' Wezep.
