Down here we are still going to the beach for swimming.....
(on the other hand, if I remember correctly, 1st January 2010 we had 25 degrees celsius, a totally ill thing and "white" christmas is sooooooooo rare in Greece...

)
Do you have a spare bed down there? So I can come for a drink.

gtechniq G1 on front screen (rainX lasts what, 2-3 weeks, this lasts approx 18-24months - up to 30k miles) and is much better
door seals with einszett 1z gummipflege) - stops them sticking/freezing and prevents further UV damage/perishing
your rear window heater isn't working properly, mine is pretty quick.
always keep a can of bilt hamber ferrosol (WD40 if you don't fancy ordering the ferrosol online - though it's miles better) for any water in ignition system)
again - ferrosol/wd40 inside the door locks to prevent water getting in and freezing.
thick grease on the door hinges etc.
i don't do a great deal specific for the winter, just make sure the paint is well protected with a decent sealant or wax. i have always found the anti-fogging wipes etc to be pretty useless, but each to their own.

Winter may take some time to reach us here as I was saying (well, writing), but it seems that autumn has already done so, and for good!
12 degrees C early this morning (53.6 F in imperial units) in the North of Athens, this is really chilly for Athenians (who are used in other temperatures)
I was thinking that one thing that I really love with the E21 is to drive during cold weather in the autumn or winter (well, not in extreme conditions, maybe a bit rainy as well but not heavily), having the heating on (+ demisting from time to time)and feeling warm and nice inside...(I know , that's a nice feeling with any car, but for some reason the E21 makes this feeling much stronger!...)
I think all this means it's time for me to go for a weekend trip or something...
Oh, and I have to solve this issue with the dash (vent duct out of place??) to stop this NASTY sound...

my winter rituals involve going outside and doing epic doughnuts in the snow.
If i had a garage big enough then the bmw would come inside but i dont so it stays out in the cold and likes it.
