+1...love the colour, really striking!
I am also quite keen to that colour. Not a long time ago I planned to repaint it in some other colour but as time passes by I am beginning to think that I will keep it that colour, just do a quality respray after some years. Besides that everyone knows this car mainly for its colour so it would be a big risk to change that
Meanwhile I have prepared for the spring. Bought a new donor engine...well the hole car and at the moment I am driving it as a daily driver for the winter. When the snow melts I will take my 530 from the garage and start using that. I bought a 325 from 1991 and the reason why I am swapping the engines is that the previous one needs a overhaul because of a head gasket failiure. Also the compressions are much better in the "new" engine and it goes better than the previous one. I will keep the old engine and stroke it to 2,8 litres with some modifications. That will happen in the future.
I have also bought most of the gaskets, bearings etc for the engine.
I am also preparing for the upcoming estonian classic BMW track event in the spring. I managed to get E21 recaro seat rails and driver side recaro seat. It is in quite poor condition but it's very difficult to find recaros in Estonia. I am planning to refurbish it with some modifications...to make it fit perfectly and offer more support on the sides.

Very nice car!
That E28 console fits OK? Without any mods? Could you post some more pics from the interior?(and if possible, a bit more detailed...)

That E28 console needs some minor modifications but overall fits quite well. I think that the E30 same console will fit a little bit better but I haven't tried it out yet because I don't have E30 console at the moment. Mountings for the sun visors are a straight fit, only thing that needs doing are the console ends that go under the door seal, the console is bit too wide and needs trimming off at the ends.
Here's the pic from the console:

E28 handbrake console:
One other big mod thats on the to-do list are the 6 series rear leather seats...here's a simple test fitting:

Huge difference compared to the stock seat

To get those seats in the seats need to be modified, wall between interior and boot needs doing, have to make new rear side cards and so on.
