Nice work Ben! That exhaust/manifold really looks the part. Style 32s are one of my favourite OEM wheels too
Did I see you put a rod through the block? I have a few E21 323i engines kicking around, also an E28 520i engine laying around, if you wanted to get them bored out!

I'm alright for parts for the racer Rob,
still got the spare 323 block, complete std 325i engine and bits for a 320 engine.
Gonna use the 325i engine with a schrick cam for now with the throttles and management etc.
Build up a new faster engine for the future with the 323 block.
As for the 635:
Also on order are bilstein B6's and a coilover conversion kit to stop it feeling like a boat in the bends.

I'm getting urges for a 635 again, but the rust experience with my last one is rather putting me off. Has yours got any rust in the sills or floorpan/sill join? I'm wondering if I was unlucky or just a bit worse than normal!
Is that the fritz system?

I know a nice, silver 1981 car with leather & manual box Jim?

It did have some in the drivers sill, which I had done properly before christmas. Otherwise the car is pretty good.
Well it did have £3k spent on the bodywork in 2005/6.
It is a Fritz system and manifold. Not cheap but should fit well and last.

Tell me about it. I have an urge to get a Transit as a tow vehicle.
I'll get details and mail them later. If you look at Anglia Classic Car auctions website it was listed last month but never made reserve.

Thought I should update this.
Refurbed wheels, new tyres and home built coilovers. New stainless manifold & system which sounds awesome
Didn't quite get the right spring lengths so can't go any lower yet.
