I know what you are saying but a Sytner C1 Alpina is just a 323i with a Pallet of Alpina parts sent over which and bolted on at a Dealership. The B6 on the other hand is a different ball game. You are right i have built a replica but this was my first E21 and got sucked into the whole "alpina" thing. In fact, i am considering removing the Deko and having the car repainted in the spring. For me now, its all about getting the cleanest E21 323i about.

For me the E12 M30 weight to power ratio up front works much better than an E21 but this is my own personal opinion.

Any idea how many of these are left now? There was a nice one that came up from an old boy in Cornwall to a dealer in Bristol.

Any idea what the chassis numbers started at or anything? Was there an additional owners booklet?

Download DVLA form V888 and send off £5 and they'll send you copies of all the owners details from new.
