Anyone in Watford or Hemel Hempstead area want to loan their e21 for the new 3 series launch?

Williams Liverpool phoned me Monday to tell me they had found one closer to home. A bit of a disappointment, considering I had it rushed into the bodyshop for some minor touch-ups

And it is funny to see how good dealerships are at planning their events and we're talking major intro here of course. For months they've known this date and in the last minute they wake up and start looking for cars, same story here in Holland.

I think that's out of order. It's stunts like that which annoy me and make me unlikely to go out of my way to ask you guys to give up your time & cars in future.

BMW Car magazine are still after some e21 for this feature. I think they have 1 car so far.

A chance for your car to be immortalised in print amongst a feature that tells the history of the 3 series. The UK's biggest selling mid size saloon.

Im amazed the dealerships left it so late to try and source cars to display. It's not like they haven't know for months.

Here in Norway they sent a mail the 20 of january. Just me that have been late to se the message and missed the whole ting. Dont know what day they need my car here, but sent them an mail today and comfirm that they can have the car if they need it.

Here in Holland the launch of the new 3-series is tomorrow februari 11th.

My 320/6 is standing in a showroom line-up as we speak.

Wish mine was in good enough condition to give em.

Don't worry guys, it's not just you boys.
It's happened over on the Zone too.
One of the guys works at a dealership, and they refused his car too, and put up an assortment of other non 3 series related cars.

Go figure.
