I have to say I like Jeroen's steering wheel. What make is it?

@Andy, did you try to turn the light switch? It has a dimming function.
No it's not Jeroen's dash, this is a pre-facelift model.

The dimmer is set to full. No lights to the left or right of the main binnacle & that is pretty dim. Left side of binnacle is dark, right side ok so at least one bulb off there.
The centre console is the head scratcher - where to start? Has anybody got access to the Bentley manual?

There's only one bulb in the centre console, you can reach it from above through the "speaker" panel. Assuming you have a NFL model?
Oww and there is one above the asstray, will need radio removal and very tiny fingers for both lights.
You can change the lights in the switches by removing the front caps.
Pics from the panel rear view
All black cables you see are light transmitting cables for the different switches, where they come together thats the position of the light.
Also the blank plastic strip is light transmitting material

Mike, that's an excellent pic - worth a thousand words.
I do have a "speaker" grille so I'll have a look. Unfortunately, I have fairly large hands
How easy is it to pull the panel out as you have done?
Is it worth putting some kind of grease on the temp/distribution toothed quadrants or do they operate fine in a dry state?

My car is early model
In order to remove the centre part of the dash panel there are 4 screws
I replaced a couple of bulbs there, it was fairly easy.
I will post some pics here
I haven't yet tried to remove the left part (left of the steering wheel, where are placed the 4 switches of lights, antimist, front and rear foglights.)
Actually I was thinking that this one was not lighted, but Jeroen replied to me the opposite on this thread (see above). So I will try it as soon as I find some time to do it.

I forgot to mention: in order to remove the centre part of the panel, after taking out the 4 screws, the lighter and fan switch have to be taken out.
The fan switch is a bit tricky to remove but doable
Good idea also to give a good clean to all these parts, will result to a dash way brighter than before

Looking at the pictures on this thread

I think that these switches (My car is LHD, so I mentioned them as "left from steering wheel", on this dash it's the opposite, though) finally are NOT illuminated
the link goes to the whole thread, there are some pics of the stripped dash
Also, the 4 screws of the centre part can be seen there

Well I finally got around to replacing all the bulbs in the Baur.
The small ones were going to be £1.99
each(!) from Halfords but when the lad found what I was putting them into he gave me trade discount at 54p each. Result! Halfords aren't all bad.
Not so good was the centre console bulb. It was a proper PITA job & when I went to undo the screws to move the panel forward slightly I found the plastic around all the screws was cracked or missing. I'm going to try some fibreglass to rebuild the areas where the screws go otherwise it's a new (used) panel. I need a rotary controller too.
There's always something.
