Hmm that might be an issue indeed. Looks like you do need a Google or related (Gmail, Youtube, etc) account indeed

Please note: name you location the same as your forum name or something that can easily be related to your forum name. I see some locations that are only named one's street name, no one will ever be able to relate that to any user. Examples on the current map:
Placemark 12
Paikkamerkintä 13
Placemark 18
Oznaczenie miejsca 20
Platsmarkör 21
