Did Arshad manage to get that door off?

I'm heading down to Machine mart in the morning with my VAT free voucher and Christmas gift vouchers (actually from LAST Christmas!), will hopefully head down to see you and the remains of the shell after that. May have permission to go out for a couple of hours without children!

yesdoor off and also the plastic trim off the rear pilllar lol. I think they are still both there Nas was threatening to sleep there. It all started out with spanners and sockets and by the time I had left it was lump hammers and grinders. Nas was setting a good example with the grinder today for Arshad. Got the strut brace thanks Mark did you not have the lower wonder bar? Got to say though it seemed an awful sheame to rip it apart.

I was driving past in my Clio, I was on the way to Bristol to look at a 330ci with my mate.

I saw the E3 instantly and knew it would be you guys!

Good to hear you've made some good progress :)

The good folk at Copart bent it and tbh, it's such a simple job to make one I didn't bother giving it to Nas. You could either weld a bar in or simply cut a length of angle iron? I don't know why BMW didn't fit a brace across the front chassis legs themselves? If you go back through my thread, you'll see a clear pic of the bar from when Jason mailed it down.

It's embarrassing Jamie the way I have to school Nas. Still he makes a decent enough cuppa! joking aside thanks a lot for today, to you, Nas and Dr Jim. The traffic warden was the only one who needed a beating!

Pleasures all mine Reck. Very touched by all your help. Extremely sorry for the mess Problem. I'm off to Birmingham soon, crappy iPad, so difficult to post pictures for now. But will be doing in the next few days.

Really can't thank all you guys. It's a cliche but a true one. Really couldn't have done it without you.

Sorry I couldn't make it down today, my permit turned out to only be good for a trip to MM where I bought various log splitting axes, a workmate, a mechanics car creeper and an air drill to facilitate drilling a hole in the slug's fuel tank for the level sender (air drill has less sparks in it!).

Look forward to seeing pics of the breaker and of course the keeper.

No problem Jim. Was nice to see you Saturday. You need to get yourself a project and planted in a workshop the odd weekend. Be that mine or one that I might end up renting (don't worry Problemchild I don't mean yours!)
