engine conversion - m51

ive had an e39 525tds and also a few e36 2.5tds' and they never lacked in torque so i know what to expect at east

i have a 93 525tds lined up and its well spec'd so should be able to get a few pound back from parting the rest out

i will most likely use a different box and either put e30 rear suspension in or use a pulse speedo

unfortunately funds are limited so its slow going but that means i get to do a lot myseelf

you have to do it, i'm really excited to see that you chose to do this engine swap, i have the same plan for my e21 but postponed till fall and looking forward to see you start the project. And as an ideea what i thought about the rear si to mount the hole e39 rear subframe with suspension, just think abot it, aluminium, flexibiliti, lsd, you can fit big wheels etc.. that you will need having that torque. good luck
