Re: Engine swaps
Unfortunately I cant afford a weber carb for it. Too much else needs done. Suspension has major woes. The shell is the best part. I think my major issues are the timing, carb maybe is a bit goosed.
Im based in Aberdeenshire but yeah, if you find a spare standard carb gimme a shout with a figure

Re: Engine swaps
e30 316 had a Webber as standard. You should be able to pick up an inlet manifold and carb of a wreck somewhere pretty cheaply. \
When I lived in the UK, I had an e30 316 and it was a great little car. The Webber ran better than my k-jet M10 powered e21 used to (never could get that thing to run quite right, replaced injectors, fuel regulator etc. etc.)
A webber is cheaper than an engine swap

Re: Engine swaps
Hello,
To be hounest if you do not have te funds to fix you`re M10 engine then i wouldnt understand how you can find the funds to do an entire enige swap.
Meanly the M10 enige is very reliable also quite fast and very easy to fix so maybe you should define the problems you have with you`re current enige better and set about at fixing that because that has got to be easyer and cheaper then an entire engine swap !
