Our daily drivers seem very tame by comparison with all of the above
My MG ZT-T CDTi auto with serious remap'd BMW Diesel 2.0 now nearer 180 bhp and still 40 mpg- owned since new in 2004 and now with 86k miles with no faults- currently running on winter tyres on those "granny 15 Rover wheels"
And the 2010 Nissan Tank Pathfinder recently bought- we have done 56k in only 2 years in this! These do most of the daily tripping between countries! (Isle of Man , Highlands of Scotland , England and formally France as well)

Gets 15.1L/100km. I actually hate to turn it on and drive anywhere in suburban areas, I just know its chewing away the litres.

lpg powered - 2.4 vtec / 190hp.. its fully loaded with kit, does the daily grind without fuss and non of that terrible diesel skeleton in a dustbin noise! only mods are a k&n panel filter and fully adjustable coilovers and camber arms

My previous daily was a 2009 vw caddy 1,9 tdi, but i wanted back a straight six + im not driving that much kilometers anymore, just 14km every day...
Now driving this very cheap bought 94 320i vanos, m50b25 already waiting for swap...
My wife drives a 2005 118d, now for almost 3 years i ihink, she loves it, it does drive prettywell also
