Quick update, I have decided to just stick with my 320/6 engine as I don't really have the funds to do a swap just now and really just want to get the car back on the road. I kind of got carried away when I saw the 2.5 engine there and I am sure as others have done ended up thinking if I get this I should get that etc and before long I was looking at loads of mods and a big parts bill lol 
TBH I don't even drive fast anymore so would be a waste on me now lol, I like the sound of my current engine and am quite happy with the performance apart from fuel but as it's a second car this isn't an issue. So for now I am going to just get the car back on the road the way it is and enjoy it
who knows I might be tempted by a swap later, thanks for all the advice though
