A couple of years ago.
323i values have climbed since then also.
Unless you're desperate for an original 323, you'd be better off getting a 316 and spending £250 on an e30 2.5 engine swap.

That car is very nice but one thing I have always loved is the double headlights as the single ones don't do it for me.
Can they be retrofitted? Also, what is the insurance like for these cars?

I have a modification list as long as my arm and as its on classic policy I pay £300 a year fully comp. don't drive it daily though. yeah you can fit twin lights on - fairly simple affair. luckily everyone is after the single lights and will pay 10x as much over a set of twins so you should get them cheap.

That's more than what I pay for my car!!! Have to read the FS thread properly and see what modifications that car has.
