We were very proud to finally be able to have this car, John's ex-Youngtimer Trophy CSL. Plan as to have the car back on track (literally!) next season.
Jeremy finished his amazing E21 M3 the night before the event. The most impressive E21 I can think of, full E46 M3 conversion with even better brakes and suspension. And how about ABS and Traction Control on an E21?
Gerrit's silver Hartge, and back after serious upgrades: Dieter's (Verdi) white E21 'RS', now with S50B30 installed
German Baur guru Uwe Hinz was in da house too!
Ben's (Duracel79) S54 powered yellow monster and Simon's (Si) track car right next to him
Great to have you guys!
Ferenc in action
Couldn't get enough
Incredibly rare Glas V8
My dream version: E30 M3 S14 powered E21!
Didn't have a good pic of Nas's wonderful car but at least we still have the instrument cluster!
More BMW powered!
Arnold's 323i and E21 trailer with contemporary Kreidler goodness!
Wondermike's impressive collection of tank lids!
Some nice E30 'guests' as well!
I encountered a few bad links, will correct and add these to this post tonite!
We were very happy to have it on the show! Nope, it's not THE original but a very good replica that was active in the Youngtimer Trophy for a couple of years, will be back in action again with rebuilt engine and centerlocks next season.
Good to hear, hope you guys are making a nice report on your road trip, looking forward to reading about your other experiences over the past week including the Ring!
Im having a bit of a chillin day today spending time with my family (first time ive been away from my little boy) and back to work tomorrow but we will get something sorted asap
We are looking back on another impressive Sharknose Meeting. Almost 400 wonderful classic BMW's, a great atmosphere of shared passion and good weather on top of that, we had a great day! Many thanks to sponsors, sellers and volunteers but above all thanks to the impressive number of visitors from all across Europe!
As organisation we already held our first evaluation, and based on your suggestions we already have a start: next year we can improve our location, perhaps some more space outside so we can add some more activities like a handling course. In 2015 our famous "show-n-shine contest" will be back as well, where neat prizes can be won, like for the best original car, best car in sports class, etc. Do you have any improvement suggestions? Feel free to email us on info@sharknosemeeting.com.
Thanks once again and see you next year on an even bigger and better Sharknose Meeting!
