Thats not chrome, its Aluminium, so its anodized. Its posible to redo, but 9 out of 10 times its not nice after. I had some strips reandized, and the came out horrible... Just buy new ones.

With the E21, for the front and rear windows it is aluminum that is covered in plastic so it cannot be redone like with the E30. But this trim is still available new and that will make a major difference in the car's looks. Just fitting can be a pita. There are trim tools for it but a flat screwdriver, a putty knife and some WD40 works fine too. Just be patient and careful or you will scratch the window or paint.

The chrome? Believe so but pretty expensive. Most parts are still available from the dealer, check bmw classic or bmwfans websites (see
parts suppliers list for links) for details on availability and pricing.

Hiya - what a find, i hope it isn't hiding any horrors. I had to source a couple of peices of window trim for my Baur - BMW are the only supplier unless you can find some 2nd hand.
Just pop your vin no. into the box and select and your car should appear with spares that BMW have left. BTW - get a specialist to fit!
