pandemonium, thanks for the links, testing is now the option. Also 4x the price I would pay for 4x the result :)

I use the paint stripper only on the wheel lips (so I can remove it before polishing, as some wheels dont need sandblasting).

like this, so the painted surface stays untouched, the lips get polished.

I would seriously have a test on costs and time using the PMB
using a cabinet it can be re-used many times over,no clean up or neutralizing, no fumes and risk of burns.

only thing i found its hard to remove is the baked enamel on the bmw subframes, but then if its good I was only keying for paint over that.
But i was only blasting at 40psi with a large nozzle.

it wont remove rust, will knock down the loose stuff but wont get into the pores.
