Good luck sean on the new car... enjoy it !!! you know what they say -- drive fast die young..
Now now, anyone can drive fast and die young (all apologies to James Dean) - the challenge is to drive fast and stay alive

Thats the whole fun and skill of it
And Sean,
Nice car chum! It even has the original tools

. I love the colour too - newer cars simply cannot pull off the dog-poo brown look, but on a late 70s beast it looks GREAT!! I love old school car colours. If you give the car a nice dark tint, it will look fantastic between the chrome and the brown paint job. What is the name of that colour?
Enjoy the machine

I just noticed the interior is brown too. Have you any pictures of just the interior? I've never seen (I dont think) that scheme in an e21. My e12 has a brown interior scheme but it seems different to yours (it has faded tho). Some interior pics will be interesting!
Nice car again!

Is that the one off eBay that had been stored in a garage for years by a bankers wife or something like that?

The colour is
142 Sepiabraun and the interior must be
0077 Nylonbraun, which was the only available interiocolor with Sepia exterior. Here's the colour and upholstery brochure
