The power steering is great!

For anyone who is interested in the installing proces, I placed some pics and info on my website, you can go there by clicking here

It's all in Dutch and not all of my pictures are on-line. If you want some more info and/or pictures, let me know.

Nice write up. I guess you're the expert on PS now!

BTW the way you have the tank on the picture, is that where you put it?

Yeah I'm a nitpicker, it belongs in the far left corner, in front of the fusebox.

Don't hit me

Ai!!!, is that where it's supposed to be?
I had to fit it somewhere and I had no pictures at tha moment so I thought that place would be the most logical.

Thanks for the tip anyway, I wiil replace it as soon as I can.

tnx, Dennis

Been quite bussy this day, fitted the alpina spoiler (getting it painted in about a month), looks awesome! Also repaired the gearbox, you couldn't tell if you were driving in first or in fifth gear, beacuse it was all worn out. Replaced some linkage parts and it's very nice now.

With the power steering and the good behaving gearbox, now even my mom wants to drive it :o .

If the wheather is any good tomorrow, I will post some pics of the spoiler.

Took a quick picture from up above here

Hi Dennis,

Well, I'm glad to see my old Alpina spoiler is finally in use on a good looking E21, rather than just lying around in my storage room.

Looks a bit funny with the Macau blue spoiler on your Turmalin green 320/6, but I'm sure it'll look fab when you get it painted...
MORE PICS!!!! :D

Last weekend rebuilded the old solex 4a1 carb. New gaskets from W&N, everything cleaned up and shiny as new.

Will take me a couple of weekends before it runs I guess, need to attach all other engine parts, intake and exhaust and then hope i connected it all right again :) and it ll run.

Stupid thing is that i now have to remove the intake manifold to place the Hrtge valve cover :(. so ill leave the spare one on it caus i need to set the timing on the valves soon.

Cheers

Hi,

After the car was sold, I beleive back in 2013 or 2014, I don't remember exactly, I've seen parts of it put up for sale on ebay.de. Sold by the new German owner who bought it back then.

So, last year aroud novembre, I received a letter by mail with a real photograph of a beautiful Thurmalin E21. (wow, a letter and a photograph :) ).
It was from a new owner who bought the car (what was left of it ) of ebay and he started a nice rebuild. I stayed in contact with him and he send me more photos, by email this time. Turns out, he even made a german car-enthusiasts magazine.

Here are some recent pics of the car. Man I'm in love again :):)
