Thanks Cisse,
Now that it's no longer freezing here in holland i can go further with making the car better. For the record, i did know that the car had some problems, according to the price i paid for it. But they are nice cars to drive and the 323i baur is very rare nowedays.

update:
Hey, the ordered parts are in so i can start to make the car run good now.
The complete exhaust, driveshaft revision , engineparts (cambelt, tensioner, waterpump, thermostat, some fuellines etc etc.)
As I bought the original frontseats in colour Anthrazit 091 the two Recaro frontseats are removed. Now I have the space for it I removed the carpet since it is wet and has to dry. The reason why is because the heaterradiator is broken, gladly i have a spare but it's extra work to be done.
When I removed the carpet i did get a little surprise, some rust has been developing and i could see that the car had an accident. The right side has some dents en a rupture of about 4 cm could be seen at the front.
At the passengerside (for me) a metalplate has been welded from the bottemside because of rust. To get it in perfect state I have to restore the car at a later moment. The strange colour of the floorpanels is because of the colout of the leaking coolant

DRIVERSIDE

PASSENGERSIDE

DENT AT THE BOTTEMSIDE OF THE B-STYLE.

RUPTURE RIGHT UNDER THE DASHBOARD IN THE CENTER.
A lott of work to get it perfect but that's for future times.

Hey Stephan,
You are right.

I already bought a piece of body with only a little rust at the jackpoints. Next saturday i am going to collect it.
The piece i bought is from the rearseats towards the front incl the firewall and also the complete Tunnel.
It was a little shock to see the rust but what can you expect when you buy the car and a spare 323i engine for 1000 euros.
I just hope it wil pass the MOT in August so i have a bit more time to collect the spare body parts before the total restauration starts and most important i can drive it.
Greetings Peter

Hey,
Update 10-3-2009:
Today it was time to drive the BAUR for the first time.
First i had to get used to the suspension, it is a little weak. My 320/6 which i had before had a lowering set and this one is completly original.
But after a while it was enjoying. Offcourse the work is not finished yet but now i can drive it and make sure it's reliable before the first meeting starts.
Greetings Peter V.
