Hi mate, try A Plan, they are very good, I had my 82 911 policy with them at just 25 for 400 squid. Absolutely love your 21, will keep an eye out for it locally!

I didn't think so, was typical though, bought this and the same day someone offered my a Alpine in dash dvd/screen/sat nav and european discs for good money. So bought that too, soon to be for sale. Said he paid £1400 for it!!! Still dont think in dash screens suit E21...well they are not for me anyway.

Drjim I think suggested Heritage insurance, who then in turn gave me an extremely good quote on my modified E28 for £250 (I'm 23, so thats brilliant). The next nearest quote was £500.
Also, great looking car.

Thanks for the extra company to call will see what they say. Have you insured yours as modified? Has anyone?

I have and all they did was charge £15 for doing the paperwork to update my policy. Not that there was actually any paper involved I bet.

E28 520i: Lowered, 2L M20 to 2.5L M20 engine, air filter, alloys. I'm 23, 1500 miles, TPFT, no accidents, no points, 4 years NCB on other vehicle - £280 from Heritage (I thought it was £250).
No one else could touch their quote, be aware they will want detailed photos so all exposed mods will need declaring.

For some reason, I really like it! Not much I wouldn't keep, aside from the 323 logo on the rear. I think a car that unique needs to be completely free of badges of any type (aside from the roundel, of course).
Just my opinion, though!
SWEET ride!
