Cheers guys, the wheels I will be putting on are a dished BBS Mahle 'style' (i.e. non BBS replicas), will polish the lip and have the centres either standard silver (probable) or gold (still thinking about that one).

I'll post pictures of the wheels I bought as soon as I get round to it. No where near as impressive as Rav's BBS RS though :( they are the holy grail and when I win the lottery they will be the finishing touch.

The outside is almost how I want it now, still gotta sort out all the gremlins under the hood though. Shoddy cold start and waiting 5 minutes for the car to warm up before I can drive is so annoying! As is the overheating in traffic!! Grrrrrrr

A satin gold finish on your rims could look really classy against the green.

Yeh I think that could be the way forwards, though still not convinced. There is a really nice dropped green e21 with gold wheels on this forum somewhere.

Though I'm still a big fan of silver deep dished rims with a polished lip. Decisions decisions!!

Excellent work!!

Its a hard one with the wheels. What ever colour you decide, when you get bored of their look, you can get them sprayed a different colour. Personally I'm not keen on Gold (unless its a Clio Williams) silver or anthracite is the way I would go. Bacolite cream may look good??

Come on Tommi get photoshopping!!!
