You know you drive an E21 when...some of the air ducts on the dash bring ONLY FRESH AIR from outside into the cabin

Can't vouch for that I haven't even figured out the controls yet and they are broken because for some reason I move the lever and that changes from defrost to front panel.

But anyway I get Fresh Air always too haha, with a little water sometimes to make it fresher :S.

When you drive your dads modern FWD Toyota and you're really confused!
You're thinking you've stalled it because you don't hear a thing, and in corners you give it some gas to break out the rear, and nothing happens!
Also, rev-matching on downshifts and the pedals are in the wrong position(way too far apart), and the gas response is so slow you miss downshifts!
Gimme my BMW!

... hotwiring the cold start relay, jumping out to re-insert an injector and having to left foot brake to keep your right on the gas (to get her warmed up) is just another drive to work!

When one of your coolant pipes splits on the way home, and you can fix it in a matter of minutes with a spare piece of pipe and a couple of wormdrive clips! I knew I hadn't cleared my boot of spare parts for a reason!

completely agree with this point

the E30 doesn't have anything like as good ventilation
Mind you I have been rescuing my GF's French car from the Alps a LHD RX4 Renault Scenic- all the Renault bits are simply terrible the 4WD bits are Steyer Puch and fantastic- but the demister isn't a patch on the E21's............. (we will have to get it through the dreaded Manx test soon)
