Whole new loom from www.kwikwire.com to replace all the old wiring.

Image

Whatever the wire is dedicated too, is written down the whole length of the outer casing to guard against mistakes and make it easier to fit. There is also an immobiliser circuit for added security.

It's a great idea, hey. I've recently been helping a mate rewire his XY Ford Falcon with the same kit. Makes it so much easier.

I have a need for an XB Falcon. It's never likely to happen but Eric Bana's beast had me obsessing about one for a while.

The 6 branch exhaust manifold is actually an e36 item and although a close fit, number 1 pipe needs modification to clear the steering column. This is the most time consuming mod so Quest opted to start to mod this first.

Front suspension arrived from GAZ.

Image

Quest Motorsport have been modifying the E36 six branch to clear the steering column.

Image

They've done a really nice job and there's plenty of room now. I was a bit concerned that the manifold might have been poor grade stainless, as it was super cheap, but it's actually quite the opposite and was a really good fit too.

Image

Image

Because of the dual hangers, the rear of the system won't take the same route as the stock one. It should be finished later today....

Image

Plan to use the original silencers from MIB but may opt for different tailpipes.

Hopefully, once the exhausts are finished, we can get the suspension on and finish the brake conversion. :thumbsup

Thanks guys.

MIB is now back from http://www.questmotorsport.co.uk and the mods to the manifold and exhaust are finished.
Next on the agenda is to fit the new Gaz front suspension and WMS Braking Systems kit. The new loom needs finishing too. There still a way to go but we're getting there! :)

Fronts 205/50 and rears 215/50. (think camera angle makes them appear narrower)

huh..
yes, angle can be very tricky!
my brother had 195/50/15 toyo R1R in front on his corolla and 195/50/15 Marangoni Zeta linea in the back and marangoni was much narrower.. like it was 185 in comparison to toyo...

Thanks. :)

Been looking at Capri RS ''ducktails'' and have decided to paint mine in body colour. I'm not sure if it'll work although it could look great. Worse ways I'll just paint it black if it doesn't.

Saw the BBC news about Glastonbury and they showed some 80's footage. Spotted this! (my Mrs said it was mental to even care! :screwy )
