this car is tough, i like it a alot. thats some insane stretch too! the colour scheme is pretty cool. its no pink or purple, but awesome none the less. 
have you considered red wheels with black detailing, or black wheels with red detailing? keep it all oldschool hotrod colours

out of interest, do you have a photo of how much the rear trailing arms are inclined at ride height? i noticed when doing the arches on mine that when you drop it out lots they can tend to end up pointing down toward the fron of the car. have you flipped the subframe bushes? im going to do this, and maybe some spacers to get the subframe even higher, maybe another 10mm or so.

sorry i havent put any new pics on here people, finding a good day to take nice pics when im not working is hard. gets dark far too bloody early these days!
car looks awesome in my mind but as for running issues, well lets say stage 2 will have to start at some point. bills to pay first though and Zans car is next on my list of projects big time
i need new subframe bush's on my car so gonna have to make some i think, will have to ask Tom C how he did his. and then rear coilover kit as the back is just too soft and the arch seems to scrap a little on the off side which im not likeing, i think the subframe is moving so much that its twisting and pulling wheel onto arch when i drop the throttle. BAD TIMES!
also the Carbs are pissing me off cos the air leak seems to have got worse since i have last driven it so i think i may take the whole lot off and have a good clean up and new gaskets etc, whole engine bay needs a good clean really. also want to build my plenum chamber for the webbers so i can get some decent cold air from the front.
pretty sure the dampers are shot on the front as im getting really bad bouncing on the front, suspension is about the right toughness i was looking for (except the back) and it handles really really well!. suprisingly the large rear wheels have stopped some of my previous wheel wobble all though it gets a bit bouncy at about 60 mph. soon levels out when you hit 70. the rear grip though is epic! and yet it slides out lovely when on ice/water and is nice to control.
the next big money spender (after solving problems) is going to be the m50 conversion. which im almost having second thoughts about, really like having a light weight 4 cylinder up front. Im not a fan of the IS engine, not really sure why, but im thinking maybe M10 turbo, my aim has always been 200/250 bhp which is easy from a turbo m10 providing i build it right. plus i can start building bits already, for example i can mount the turbo manifold up on current m10 and then run a 90 degree bend instead of a turbo just so its all in the right place,

hey what width are your front wheels? did you band those too? with the massive rear dish they look like they could use a bit more dish in the front maybe?
and didnt you already do coilovers in the back of that thing?

cos i didnt get my alpina's sold quick enough i couldnt afford the rear coilover kit, just need the springs and threaded tube though and i can bolt them straight on, fronts are standard 8" no banding, but im feeling a 2 " band coming on and getting the PCD redrilled to 4x100 so they fit without the vw-audi adaptors.
front handles very well at the mo though and is nice and easy to turn still, dont really wanna have stretched tyres on the steering wheels,

cos the tyres cost a fortune and if im welding my diff then im gonna be eating tyres on a regular basis so dont want the added costs. 205 part worns are very available.
it costs £40 per rim to do a banding so that plus tyres cost and postage/fuel costs and its starting to head towards the same cost as me investing in a set of cheap front split rims.
at the momment my car is heading well into the retro scene and away from my jagermeister replica dream. even considering a new paint scheme for my car, maybe electric pink....................

failing that, id be going the retro route.
