Swapped some old parts for a spare ECU only to find it had been fitted with a Racing Dynamics chip. It would have been rude not to give it a go so having watched Jimmy swap my ECU over a couple of times, I gave it a go.

The car fired up straight away and I let it idle for about 10 minutes to give the ECU time to adjust itself. It runs really nicely. It used to be a bit wooly on light throttle but that has gone now and it just pulls really cleanly. Once I get to 3500 / 4000 rpm it really takes off. I'm well pleased with the results.

The good thing is that not only do I still have a spare ECU but that also has a decent chip in it too.

I'm planning to change my tyres later this week and am thinking along the lines of Toyo Proxes. Is anyone else here using them?

mt mate e30 dave swears by them, im running them on the back of my e21 but havent really had it on the road or in decent position to use them properly to give my veiw on them though, the ones i hve got, have very large side walls thickness and protect the rim but i guess that changes which toyo you go for

Decided to go with the yellow tints and just bought a set of genuine e21 lens covers. I saw an orange e30 M3 with them and it looks really nice. 8)
