Tried on the new wheels, looks like they will fit(8x16 offset15) still waiting for the rubbers.. Also tried some wax to the paint but, dunno what to do about that..

Today, just spent the morning cleaning the front seats and applying the first layer of Mink Oil. Now taking a break over lunch and will start on the rear seats, there after I will clean out the boot (trunk to those across the herring pond) then if there is still time I will service the carb. Then it will be just enough time to join me mates for a drink.

At last... wheeled mine out of the garage today (first time in 5 years).. hooked up a new battery and fluids.. she started first time!!!!! how i missed the sound of the 3.5...
now on its way via low loader to the paint shop... full respray in hena red!!!
next on the list is to refurb the calipers and fit new bushes up front then m.o.t... and shes back on the road!!!!!!! :popcorn

pics will follow when the guys started/finished spraying it... im hoping by june for the mot.. fingers crossed

not going with alpina spoiler look.. just rear fhora spoiler(keeps the back in check at speed)
need to get some spacers sorted for the bbs splits.. they only 7.5 x15 and 8.5 x 15 with et 15 and et 18.. i think i should be ok with 10mm.. the same i think as orjan's lovely e21.. what does mib run mark?

8 & 9 x 15's with 10mm hubcentrics up front. Was going to have arches to enable me to lose the tyre stretch but am having the standard arches stretched & dressed instead. Probably after the engine swap though.
