to fit or not to fit, that is here the question

parts are original ACS, but does it suit a 30 year old beemer?

iiiiiits update time :
to start of with a simple one, alpina tie bar, yes it's self made, need to grind the welds and powdercoat it, the bolts will be shortened...

Nice! What adjustments were required to fit the E46 rack? looks like a neat upgrade to me!

required : adapters for bolting on, shorting the column to the max (as my engine is lifted 7 cm that was almost not possible), shorting the tie rods, new lines, missing still the mounting brackets for the PAS pump, getting them today. I don't know yet, but maybe there will be some bolt on solutions for sale...will seeJeroen wrote:Nice! What adjustments were required to fit the E46 rack? looks like a neat upgrade to me!
Still the steering rack is 1 cm lower than the front subframe, so the tie bar in the front is having a double job, holding sh** together and being a bodyguard for the sump and rack.

I'm from Spain, I have read all one-time, impressive work, great solutions, follow the lsd of 188 mm mount, you will need modifications to the chassis
