Finally managed to secure a decent e21 for Claire. I had another nice car in my sights but this one came up and was just the right car, right price, right time.

Anyway, it's a late model 316 and is 100% original having spent 10 years or so, sat idle in a barn on a farm in NW England. It's done just over 40,000 miles and never been welded, painted or bumped.
What it does need, is a new coil or ignition module as the original gave up after such a long period not being used. I have found one at GSF though and I'm also going to fit a new battery. I also need to tax it but I want to get the few bits and pieces done first.

Delivered.

Absolutely rock solid everywhere!

Even the chrome is near perfect.

Drives really nicely too! Been lucky enough to find 2 'keepers'. :D

Staying standard as driving slammed cars round here, the novelty soon wears off, so one is enough. There are 10 major speed humps in our road alone!

I know. Just goes to show what crap material they used. Mileage is backed up by history. I'll defo take you up on the seat though if you keep me in mind as she's keeping it all original.

I imagine she might bring it down depending on weather and work.

we might actually have more e21's then any other model of car this month which would be awesome!
cream leather would look very nice in that car though i have to say
cream carpets, silver exterior and blue seats/door cards is a few too many colours

Black carpets are about the only change it ''might'' end up with. Especially with the paint being such a dark blue.

Forgot - will be getting a tow-bar though.

It's all good. It's just marking on the rim from age and crud dripping down. I think Jeroen has had his magnifying glass out again.
