Haha Boris is a great name!

Haven't actually seen Bruce with his new coilovers yet, gonna go up on Monday to have a look and help finish the job off. Will take a photo of the camber and post it up then.

Nah didn't go for the GAZ in the end as I already had a decent set of Bilstein shocks so went down this route instead, will give a full report of how they feel on Monday.

My First red car (ARK 618Y) was nicknamed the Arkham Asylum (as in Batman) because of 1) the ARK prefix and 2) it was usually full of nutcases...

well it was running fine when i parked it up in the garage.( apart from the front minor damage).. so it will need the brakes rebuilding new fuilds ect and a battery. the trouble is i always find some thing else that i could do better on it!!!.. this time i have drawn a line on whats needed. full respray, wheels (bbs rs/rm) and a general tinker about.. and all should be well...

Bit of an update for Bruce...

Coilovers are now fitted, though I've gotta play around with the ride height, gonna take the front a little bit lower (gonna try to match the stance I had before).

Rod joints were swapped over for a new set yesterday (it was a miracle the old ones hadn't given way).

Clear corners are now on too:

Almost to the point where I want to leave this car as is now.

Outstanding items - Beige recaro's, new front bumper (or somehow remove the pitting and bit of rust) refurb and fitting of my other wheels (and selling these mims), then down the line a set of BBS RS070's..

As you can see looks a bit higher on this side. Planned to adjust the ride height today but the weather is shocking out there

Wifes new car (also my daily run around) in the background too, Seat Ibiza TDI 130. Has 171 bhp and 291 lbs of torque, beats most things around and best of all still returns an average 45 mpg, 60 on motorways! :D
