I love Istrian roads... even underpowered cars slide around and have milion HP efect

new year, finally some process to be made :

moved the car to the workshop, according to plan there are 3 stages :

stage 1 : mechanical upgrades
adjustable coils on the bilstein shocks
improved camber plates
e36 188 LSD diff with e36 mounts 3.76 ratio
e30 gearbox
sachs performance clutch
new exhaust (only the supersprint manifold will stay), rear getting two exits now
shorter short shifter
braided steel brake lines
rear strut with battery holder (copying someone here)

stage 2 : bodywork and paint

stage 3 : power update
no more bosch LMM
70mm inlet
M50 2.8 injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
EMU standalone ECU unit

remap is planned end of march. Now there will be finally some technical pictures again to be seen.

My E21 5 speed M20 gearbox/E21 LSD is up for grabs - so if anyone wants to bundle, PM me. Everything in perfect working order

time is the enemy, but still, some progress made

camber fixpack, 188 diff with LSD, e30 housing, e36 cover with strongflex bushes, shortened shafts

e30 325i gearbox (shifting with this puppy is much better than with the e21)

and the very light flywheel after 15.000 km, same as the first day !

and the sachs performance clutch mounted

Hi there! Beatiful car!

I was in the Austrian Alps last summer(gone through Slovenia ), and i loved too!

How is the E46 steering rack feels for you? Is it a RHD steering rack right? I was thinking about that modification, because i got exhausted on slalom courses from the factory 4 turn steering rack

. In Hungary RHD E46 steering racks is quite cheap, because there is a lot of that cars in the salvage yards.
