I remember fiddling with it, but why is the 20 degree angle actually?

Is an Ate requirement. If not in the right angle the pistons get stuck, I believe.

What did you do to the C-pillar? Tin on the new joint between roof and sidepillar?

WOW, your car looks Amazing, I'm sure it will look even better once it's fully ready. I've just started dismantling mine. It's full of rust everywhere, I'm really anxious and have no idea what to do. Rust on the roof, corner of windscreen, removed back windscreen and found loads of rust, interior has rips, dash board has cracks, engine needs loads of gaskets, car needs full respray.....where does one even begin. I've pulled everything out, all panels are off;
doors, windows, boot lid, bonnet (which smacked me in the face when I removed the last bolt as it flew at me with the spring motion), lights are out, front grille all out.... I just need to remove the front seats and carpet and roof lining, I hope that's all I guess......I am just afraid that the spray people will trick me again like 7 years ago and the rust returns....

Hello priest 008!
Thanks for the nice words. There are now more then 350 hours time gone away with a lot of sweat and Money! If you want to do it right there are many difficulties between beginning and the finish. But there are moments after you will never Forget like seeing the car painted.....!
If your car is to rusty I think it is better to search for a better one because it costs a lot of Money and there are some parts you wont get anymore!
And you have to know what you are doing!!!
Instead of all i wish you all good to your Project
(sorry my english ist not the best

)

Oh woooow! That looks fantastic! Your English is very good, don't worry. Wow the car is absolutely fabulous, these guys brought it back to factory condition! The thing that worries me is that in Malta, no one will do this kind of amazing work, they just want to hurry and get it finished.
I am so happy for you, this is going to look absolutely stunning!
