When your putting the shopping in the boot at Tesco and a young guy in a 51 plate 3 series pulls up and says "nice car mate! What is it?"
unbelievable.

just tighten up the holding screw for the "catch"
mine wouldn't shut unless i slammed it, gave that a tighten and it's been fine ever since.

hmmm yes the inside door handle has become a bit annoying. Giving people lifts isn't worth it after each trip trying to explain where it is.

When even people that used to have an E21 in the past (but have changed about 20 cars since then) can't remember where that interior door handle is hidden...

when all is well driving, you park your car up at night, go in, have dinner, then see orange flashes coming from outside. you suddenly realise your small piece of folded paper to hold in the hazard switch has failed.
although....i've had this hazard switch for nearly 3 whole months now, and....it still works! i'm going to use it as little as possible. hopefully once a year for the MOT and that's it.

I guess I should get one for MOT time. I just bridged the terminals on the back of the switch.

new ones are quite expensive for what they are. £25 or so IIRC. i tried the fix on the sticky and it worked, but only for a month or 2 so i just got a new one. comes with a warranty as well and it's a 5 minute job to change it.
